My name is Tamara Laszlo. I am an Embodied Leadership Coach: through Coaching + Dancing! , I hope to get us all more into our bodies, so that we can let them support our collective emotional healing, and facilitate clear, soul-led thinking and action. Because I believe that the more self-compassionately ourselves we become, the better it is for the whole. That's my new religion! Will you come join me?
A bit (a lot!) about me: (feel free to go back to the rest of the site - freeeedom is yourrs! :)
I am French, of multicultural origins (Tahiti, Belgium, Hungary, the British Isles, France & Denmark) with an ever-buzzing mind that needs embodied meditation (in movement or still) to focus. Check an interview I gave about this here.
I started with the itch of traveling, exploring, and experimenting other cultures from the inside - like a local, living there, was my favorite thing to do. Each morning was fresh, different, and I never knew what to expect - which made me feel really alive.
So from my native France, I moved to Spain, Spain, the US, the UK, and eventually the Netherlands, where I moved as a ‘lovepat’.
In the middle of all of that I got an economics and language degree, and a Marketing MBA; worked as an Intercultural Communication & Management University lecturer, trainer, coach & Management Consultant for high-potentials of multinationals (Nike, P&G, Caterpillar, Rabobank, Boeing, Fedex, J&J, Equinor, Kellog's, Philips, Pepsico, SAP,...) moving countries with their families, altering their whole lives in the process, and having to learn fast.
I got certified with coaching & counseling degree, which enlarged my frame of reference from psychology, transition processes for expats, intercultural communication and country-specific knowledge; to the intricacies of psychological & physical safety, and how that is related to doing one's best thinking.
In addition to my focus on neuroscience and emotional intelligence, I am now enlarging my scope to meditation and mindfulness, trauma, body integration & embodiment of consciousness, and how these are dependent on our relationship with the environment.
As a business and life coach, I have been expanding my practice to embodiment and bodily needs, as well as listening to the heart and following the soul’s direction. I have been integrating embodiment, movement and conscious dance into my coaching practice, combined with meditative and embodied states – as a way to accessing their deeper needs and insights.
I have been developing my embodiment skills through studying and teaching from The Embodiment Conference (400+ speakers), attending the introduction to the Dance Movement Therapy program of Codarts (Dance & Arts Academy in Rotterdam), as well as by having a regular practice of conscious dance, movement and connection (Biodanza, 5 rythms, Ecstatic Dance, Open Floor, Movement Medicine).
I design and teach Coaching + Dancing ! classes, workshops & individual sessions, as a certified Open Floor conscious dance teacher. I spend the past three years developing as an embodiment, movement and dance teacher, as a complement to my Coaching + Intercultural and Diversity basis, because I am convinced that connecting to more of the diversity inside of us, makes it possible to connect to the diversity outside, and hence have peaceful relationships, happily connected communities, and healthy (in all ways) individuals (in all their diversity), thriving together in their beautiful complementarity. And the missing link for me was the body (see here an article I wrote that explains how our body supports peaceful & joyful complementary communities).
The tools I use range from Non-Violent (compassionate) Communication and psychology, existential & intercultural coaching, body works & posture (Alexander Lowen: psychological tension in particular centers translates into physical tension), to spirituality (ancient and Eastern wisdom, meditation/mindfulness, energy management), creative expression & reflection (drawing, music, dancing), Leadership & Management research (organizational behavior & intercultural neuroscience), to quantum physics and coaching) & meditation-mindfulness.
